The current MPS-ECAS Certification Regulations have now been updated. You can find the certification regulations on the MPS-ECAS website. These certification regulations apply to all current and future assignments.

The amendments were approved by the MPS-ECAS Board of Experts on 19 March 2024 and will take effect from 1 August 2024.

Version 13 contains the following changes:

Article 5.1.1      The following text has been added: the certification may not be used in a way that brings the certification body and/or the certification system into disrepute, leading to loss of market confidence.

Article 5.2.8       The following text has been added: the certificate holder must notify MPS-ECAS in writing of important events that have an impact on the certified management system, including matters such as a breach of national or international law, legal prosecution and emergencies.

Article 6.d         The following text has been added: a certificate may be suspended in the event of a breach of national or international law that might bring MPS-ECAS, the certification standard or the standard owner into disrepute.

Article 8.3.4      The following text has been added: the certificate holder may only use the logo while they are certified.
